Scraps and their use

We obtain a solid fraction around 5%, and water reusable for the process. The solid fraction will be used as compost.

After ad adeguate staying in the biodigester, we will obtain a gaseous mixture consisting mainly of methane and carbon dioxide, containing small quantities of hydrogen, and a very liquid sludge, with a solid fraction around 5%, not fully stabilized (the organic matter is not completely degraded ).

The gas produces energy or, after the separation of its components, energy and methane. After the separation of the water using a phytopress, this is recovered while the dry fraction is used as biological fertilizer. Any excess nitrate can evaporate in the form of harmless nitrogen, making the quality compost rest. It can be added with gasification ash or extra urea and used as a soil improver (compost).
